The TruzBiz Verified Badge

Show customers that your business is verified.

The TruzBiz Verified Badge gives businesses a simple way to show that they have an active TruzBiz verification. Every badge links back to the business’s public TruzBiz record, where customers can check its current verification status.

Every badge links to a public record

What the badge means

The badge displays a current verification — it points to the record behind it.

The badge is not a separate product. It is the visible state of an active TruzBiz verification, and its whole job is to send a customer back to the public record, where the substance can be read.

What the badge indicates

  • The badge indicates that the business has an active TruzBiz verification.
  • The badge links back to the business's public TruzBiz record.
  • Customers can use that record to check the business's current verification status.
  • Verification remains public while it is current.
  • Verification can expire, and businesses may need to complete annual re-verification.

What the badge does not mean

  • TruzBiz guarantees the business.
  • TruzBiz endorses or recommends the business.
  • The business is risk-free.
  • Every claim made by the business is true.
  • TruzBiz is responsible for the business's conduct.

Read the scope before you rely on a badge. What TruzBiz Verified means states in full what verification confirms and what it explicitly does not.

  • Your website

Show your verification status where customers arrive.

  • Social profiles and posts

Point followers to your public record.

  • Email signatures and proposals

Where a first contact becomes a decision.

  • Invoices, quotes and letterheads

On the paperwork that carries your name.

  • Storefront and signage

    For customers who walk in.

Verified businesses copy their verification link and download badge assets — SVG, PNG, QR code and an embed snippet — from the Business Portal. A download does not auto-update, so every placement counts only for as long as the live record behind it says verified.

How it works

Three steps from verification to proof.

The badge is the last step of the verification process, not a product that sits beside it.

  1. Get verified on TruzBiz

Register your business, submit the required evidence and complete TruzBiz review. Verification is a decision about evidence, not a purchased status.

  2. Receive and use your Verified Badge

Once verification is current, your business carries the TruzBiz Verified seal — on its public profile, and through the credential toolbox in the Business Portal, which provides your verification link and badge assets.

  3. Customers check your record

Anyone who follows the badge lands on your public TruzBiz record, where they can see your current verification status and when it was last checked.

Verification status

The badge represents current verification.

A badge is a statement about now, not a permanent title. Verification is held for a defined period, remains subject to the TruzBiz verification lifecycle and annual re-verification, and is renewed rather than kept for good.

  • The badge shows only while the business's verification is current.
  • Verification is granted for a defined period and is subject to annual re-verification.
  • If verification expires, is suspended or is not renewed, the badge and the public record change state — nothing is left saying verified when it is not.
  • Customers always see the current status on the record the badge links back to.
